The sector of historically significant and collectible cars is experiencing steady growth, with increasingly significant figures in terms of collection value, transaction volumes and related industries.
Over time, traditional collecting and historical-cultural appreciation have been complemented by complex technical and speculative dynamics, leading to the emergence of specialised investment funds. At the same time, high value-added support activities have expanded, including tourism, hospitality, event organisation, museum curation and management, as well as a broad ecosystem linked to vehicle restoration and technical maintenance.
This growing complexity has generated a still unmet demand for dedicated managerial expertise: professionals with solid management, economic and financial skills, combined with the ability to understand the cultural, historical, emotional and technical dimensions of the collectible car world.
To bridge the gap and meet this need, MAMACC was created, an eclectic and cross-disciplinary Master’s programme, highly experiential and customisable, designed by LIUC Business School in collaboration with Lopresto, custodian of the world’s most important collection of Italian prototypes and a long-standing international reference point for research, history and culture in Italian car design.
